The Creative Dark Ages

Is it just me or did entertainment companies lose their nerve? I remember when entertainment companies always took chances. Like all businesses, the situation is usually evaluated on whether or not to take a chance on someone.

These days companies want to connect with individuals or influencers with a massive following. This is understandable in some way when you want to reach lots of people. but I’m also noticing a pattern businesses and entertainment companies are using. These companies take creative ideas and use them sometimes even tweaking them a little bit. I guess what I’m getting at is that more and more companies are taking fewer chances with creators. these days everything has got to be able to make billions and creators of seeing less of those profits. now creators are leaving these companies because of lower Revenues. most of them creating their don’t believe me just take a look at any of today’s movies or TV shows most of those stories don’t make any sense. businesses leaving companies to choose the lesser talented. Don’t believe me just take a look at any of today’s movies or TV shows most of those stories don’t make any sense. Companies have the IPs but lack the talent or the knowledge of what those Ips some of these companies are going broke, trying to capture a different type of audience. mean to the selective audience. Some of these companies are going broke, trying to capture a different type of audience. It’s almost as if we’re in some kind of creative dark age. The company doesn’t know what the masses want or is too busy trying to serve a different demographic.

I don’t see anything wrong with chasing that other audience I just think companies need to understand that chasing that audience, When the company's audience happens to be the majority, I believe they can still serve the small audience. They wish to attract just place it on a smaller scale. the minority of the whole. When accompanies audience happens to be the majority, I believe they can still serve the small audience. They wish to attract just place it on a smaller scale. there is a way to have both.

It is also good to try new things like reading different books, seeing an indie flick, checking out new content creators, and more. companies should do what’s best in my opinion that would be whatever they were formed in the first place. It’s been a big policy of mine to stay out of anything political, and just make good stories good content, and great characters following this, hopefully, will get us out of the dark ages of creativity.
